Today, additional experienced fertility specialists, embryologists, laboratory professionals and our practice team work closely together. It is important to us to meet you where you are—medically and personally. We want to explain clearly what options are available, why we recommend certain examinations or treatment steps, and what alternatives exist. We take time for your questions, speak openly about opportunities and limitations, and guide you through each step with empathy and clarity. You should feel well informed, taken seriously and personally well cared for with us.
Our philosophy: With heart & precision
For us, good fertility medicine means combining medical quality with personal care. We plan every treatment individually, based on your findings, your medical history and your personal situation.
What matters to us is clear and honest advice—so that you understand what we recommend, why we recommend it, and which options may be suitable for you.
The founding story
We initially founded Die Kinderwunschärztin in 2019 as a small practice—with the desire to combine modern reproductive medicine and very personal care. Early on, demand was significantly greater than we had expected. Many patients and couples embraced our concept very well and encouraged us to take the next step. Thus, we gradually expanded the practice, found further wonderful female doctors who share the same standards of medical quality and personal care, and continuously built up our team.
An important milestone for us was setting up our own IVF lab with a modern cleanroom area and our own cryobank. In doing so, we engaged intensively with different laboratory standards, processes and technical possibilities, exchanged ideas nationally and internationally, and brought together experience from university-based reproductive medicine in Munich and from other centres. Our goal was always to adopt, from different concepts, what is truly convincing medically and organisationally.
Today, we are very proud to have built a complete fertility centre with its own IVF lab, cryobank, specialised physicians and a well-coordinated team.
What is particularly important to us, however, is how this team came together: we specifically selected people who bring a high level of professional expertise and at the same time share our standards for quality, care and personal support. It matters to us that medical decisions are made on a sound basis, processes are implemented reliably, and patients and couples are supported openly, clearly and empathetically.
In this way, a small practice has gradually developed step by step into a specialised fertility centre that combines medical quality, modern laboratory medicine and personal care—and it is precisely with this standard that we continue to develop it consistently.
Dr. med. Corinna Mann
Founder & fertility specialist
I am a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics with a focus on gynaecological endocrinology and reproductive medicine. After many years in university-based reproductive medicine in Munich and as a senior physician at a large fertility centre in Vienna, I felt an increasing desire to be able to shape fertility medicine in my own centre the way I believe is right. Medically, it is particularly important to me to look very closely: to view findings in context, to include even less obvious causes, and to understand where a woman or a couple stands medically and personally at that moment.
On this basis, I provide individual advice, weigh different treatment options together with my patients, and work with them to find a treatment path that makes medical sense and at the same time fits their personal ideas and needs. I also make enough space for questions and personally accompany them even through longer treatment courses.
As Medical Director, I am responsible for the medical direction of our centre. Reproductive medicine is developing very dynamically—this is why we continuously pursue further training, follow new scientific findings and international developments very closely. At the same time, we carefully assess which new procedures may be appropriate for which patients. In this way, we can use new options in a targeted manner and develop treatment concepts that are medically sound and at the same time fit the personal situation as well as possible.

Dr. Florian Mann
Co-founder & Managing Director (Commercial)
Together with my wife Dr. med. Corinna Mann, I founded Die Kinderwunschärztin. While she is responsible for the medical management, I take care of the commercial side of our family business—from finance and strategy to digitalisation, structures, and organisational processes.
I have always been enthusiastic about working where something new is being created: developing ideas, building a company, taking responsibility and continuously improving together with a team. In that sense, our fertility centre still feels a bit like a start-up to me today. At the same time, the task here is very special. Because every process, every investment and every entrepreneurial decision ultimately serves one very clear goal: to support people as well as possible on their path to their desired child.
In the business world I come from, there is a lot of talk about “purpose”—the meaning of one’s own work. At Die Kinderwunschärztin, we do not have to look far for that. I can hardly imagine anything more meaningful than accompanying people as they build their family.
Being able to do this as our own family business means a great deal to me. It gives us the freedom to make independent decisions, think long term, and consistently align our centre with the needs of our patients. I see my role as creating the best possible framework for this: with reliable structures, responsible use of our resources, and a working environment in which our team can focus fully on the people who come to us.

What Our Patients Say
Frequently Asked Questions
What can I expect at your fertility centre?
It is important to us to get to know you first and to understand where you are medically and personally. We take time for your medical history and your questions, place existing findings in context, and discuss together which next steps may make sense for you. We also want to explain openly what we recommend—and why.
I am still unsure—can I still book a consultation?
Yes, of course. An initial consultation can be particularly helpful in finding orientation. You do not need to have made any decision about treatment before the first appointment. We clarify open questions and provide you with a well-founded medical assessment so that you can consider calmly how you would like to proceed afterwards.
Do you also support single women and female couples?
Yes. In addition to heterosexual couples, we also support many single women and lesbian couples on their path to their desired child. We discuss which treatment options may be suitable individually in the initial consultation.
Can I also come to you for a second opinion?
Yes. Many patients and couples come to us to have existing findings, previous treatments or a proposed treatment plan placed in context again. We review your documents and discuss with you what options we see in your situation.
How do you protect my privacy?
We naturally treat your personal and medical data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations. We also ensure a calm and discreet atmosphere in the design of our premises and our processes.
Can I also come to you as a patient with statutory health insurance?
Yes, of course. Many of our patients and couples come to us with statutory health insurance as self-paying patients. As we are a private centre, we do not bill treatment directly to statutory health insurance funds. In advance, we inform you transparently about the costs that are likely to arise for consultation, diagnostics or treatment. This allows you to decide calmly which services you would like to use with us.
What do I need for an initial consultation?
After booking your appointment, you will receive a detailed medical history questionnaire from us. This allows us to get a good picture of your medical history before the consultation and prepare specifically for your appointment.
Prior diagnostics are not required. If findings, laboratory values or documents from previous examinations or treatments are already available, you are welcome to send them to us in advance or bring them with you to the appointment. We will discuss everything else together in the initial consultation.
