How often do I have to travel to Munich for my treatment?
This depends on your individual treatment. How many stays in Munich are required depends on the chosen therapy and your personal treatment plan. Many preparatory steps can be taken before your arrival. We plan the further appointments individually with you.
Can preliminary examinations be carried out in my home country?
Yes. Many diagnostic examinations – such as hormone analyses, ultrasound checks, or spermiograms – can be carried out in your home country. Before starting treatment, however, an in-person consultation at our fertility center in Munich is required. During this, we assess your previous findings, perform the necessary diagnostics on-site, and supplement these if necessary. We then create your individual treatment plan.
How many days should I plan for my stay in Munich?
The required length of stay varies depending on the type of therapy (e.g., IVF, ICSI, or social freezing). We will create an individual treatment and time plan for you in advance. In doing so, we coordinate the appointments – as far as medically possible – so that they take place in clusters and your stay can be made as efficient as possible.
How is my treatment billed?
Before starting treatment, we will inform you transparently about the expected costs. Medical services are billed according to the German Fee Schedule for Physicians (GOÄ). We will also inform you about any other costs incurred in advance.
